Hacking
We are very lucky to be based in one of the most beautiful parts of the world (in our humble opinion!) which makes for perfect hacking. We have access to acres and acres of moorland and vast open fields which are fantastic for galloping or just a relaxing wander with friends.
The sea is within hacking or driving distance and almost everyone who has been on one of our famous beach rides has come back again for another!
Almost all of our hacking contains cantering and galloping so we ask that you be confident at fast work before you book. If you aren't then we can tailor the rides to your personal needs and requirements but you must state this before you arrange a hack. Treks across Hollowcroft Moor and our large hill field are available for beginners and no experience is required.
We usually run at least one hack a day, weather permitting.

By novice, we mean anything from someone who has never sat on a horse, to trot and canter or those of a nervous or unconfident disposition.We regret to say that we cannot take novices for the beach rides as the horses tend to get a bit excited and can be difficult to control on occasion.
We encourage people to bring their own horses if they would like to ride across our land, but just please remember to let us know in advance so we can sort out accommodation for you and your horse.
