For a while now the younger riders have been asking us if we were ever going to set up a sort of riding club and after giving it some thought, we've decided to go ahead with it and create one.
Members gain free entry to all EAE shows (excluding affiliated competitions and events organised by other parties but held at EAE) and reduced price lessons if the rider is under 16, as well as a wealth of training and education opportunities and a bucketload of fun!
We're still working out the system so don't phone up to join just yet!
Here at EAE we pride ourselves on the ability to provide clear and easy access to a wealth of equestrian information
and hope that through the pony club we can pass this knowledge on to the next generation.
We run a variety of workshops that deal with a wide range of training - from the simple things like how to get on a horse, to the best way to count the strides before a fence.
You don't have to belong to the club to send us in your pictures so please do send them in!

A sadly all too true representation of one of our best known horses. The one, the only, the infamous Tamarind.
Painted by Lisa Manning after an incident that she witnessed whilst out on a hack, an incident which David fervently denies ever happened...

Rhona jumping - a piece of original artwork by Lisa, which David scanned and edited on the computer to make into a useful little graphic.(and yes, she's jumping, not bucking!)

David made a couple of little graphics of some of the horses on the computer. Nikolai says that the one of Jaconelli is his favourite but he's probably biased.
Izzy and Rosie both coloured these linearts from Manda at Havillands.
We found another couple of computer drawn ones at the back of the hard drive recently. David says that they aren't his best work but everyone else thinks they're pretty good.
A Fjord - one of the many breeds we'd love to have on the yard.
A fairly generic warmblood type. He says he based it off a horse he saw at a local show recently.

David edited this photo of Mitchell for Jenny as a birthday present so she could put it on her wall at home.

Yup, yet another piece of 'Tam-art', this time by David.
